The Services, including Translink, Vitabyte ID, VITAPOS, VitaRemote, VITABYTE CRM, Angie, Angie Eats and F&B inventory, and all of their software, applications, APK files, agents, installers, firmware, source and object code, screens, designs, workflows, text, graphics, data models, Documentation and other content, are owned by Vitabyte, Inc. or its licensors. They are protected by United States copyright law, international copyright treaties and trade secret law. Words with capital letters have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
No part of the Services may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, displayed or used to create derivative works except as the Terms or a signed written agreement with Vitabyte expressly allow.
Trademarks
Vitabyte, Vitabyte ID, Translink, VITAPOS, VitaRemote, VITABYTE CRM, Angie and Angie Eats, and their associated logos, are trademarks of Vitabyte, Inc. They are claimed marks; the absence of a registration symbol does not mean Vitabyte does not claim them. Other names and logos that appear in the Services, such as those of processors, card networks, hardware makers and integrations, belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products. Their use does not mean those owners endorse Vitabyte.
You may not use Vitabyte's trademarks in a product name, company name, domain name, social media handle, advertising keyword or in any way that could suggest sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation, without Vitabyte's prior written permission. A white-label arrangement does not transfer ownership of any Vitabyte trademark.
Proprietary and confidential source code
Vitabyte's source code, build scripts, configuration, prompts, models and internal Documentation are confidential and proprietary trade secrets of Vitabyte, Inc. They are not published and are not licensed to anyone except under a signed written agreement. Access to any of them, including in a demonstration or due-diligence review, does not grant any licence. Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling or otherwise deriving source code from any app, APK, agent, firmware, protocol or licence check is prohibited by the Terms.
Notices to display
The following short notice is shown in the About screen of each app, in each APK's about information, in each VitaRemote agent installer and its about panel, and in the console footer or about page:
Copyright (c) 2026 Vitabyte, Inc. All rights reserved. VITAPOS, VitaRemote, Angie, Angie Eats, Translink and Vitabyte ID are trademarks of Vitabyte, Inc. This software is licensed, not sold, under the Vitabyte Terms of Service and the product's licence agreement. Reverse engineering, decompiling and circumvention of licence or device protections are prohibited. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms; see Open-source licences.
The following header is placed at the top of each proprietary source file and in the root of each Vitabyte source repository:
Copyright (c) 2026 Vitabyte, Inc. All rights reserved. PROPRIETARY AND CONFIDENTIAL. This file is a trade secret of Vitabyte, Inc. Unauthorized copying, use, disclosure or distribution of this file, by any medium, is strictly prohibited. No licence is granted except by a written agreement signed by Vitabyte, Inc.
The year in each notice is the year of first publication and may be followed by the year of the latest revision, for example "2026-2027".
Open-source components
Some Software includes open-source components. Each of those components remains subject to its own licence, and nothing in the Terms or this notice limits the rights that a component's licence gives you in that component. The components and their licences are listed in the "Open-source licences" section of each app's About screen or in the Documentation. Where a licence requires Vitabyte to offer source code for a component, you may request it in writing by mail (certified mail or courier) to Vitabyte, Inc., Attn: George Karabelas, CEO, 3525 30th Ave, Suite 306, Astoria, NY 11103. The presence of open-source components does not make any other part of the Software open source.
Anti-circumvention
Vitabyte's licence checks, device enrollment, device attestation, signing and encryption keys, session tokens and similar mechanisms are technological measures that effectively control access to copyrighted works and protect the rights of Vitabyte as copyright owner, within the meaning of 17 U.S.C. §1201. Circumventing any of them, or making, offering or trafficking in any tool, service or information designed to circumvent them, is prohibited by the Terms and may violate federal law.
Reporting copyright infringement
Vitabyte respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe material available through the Services infringes your copyright, send a written notice to Vitabyte's designated agent under 17 U.S.C. §512:
Copyright Agent, Vitabyte, Inc., Attn: George Karabelas, CEO, 3525 30th Ave, Suite 306, Astoria, NY 11103
Send notices in writing by mail (certified mail or courier) to that address.
Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for Vitabyte to locate it;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
If material you posted is removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent containing the information 17 U.S.C. §512(g) requires. Vitabyte will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
To report misuse of a Vitabyte trademark, or other infringement of Vitabyte's rights, write in writing by mail (certified mail or courier) to Vitabyte, Inc., Attn: George Karabelas, CEO, 3525 30th Ave, Suite 306, Astoria, NY 11103.
