Angie onboarding

In pilot

Send a menu link. Review a venue.

Angie, VitaPay's virtual assistant, asks the setup questions one at a time, reads your menu from a link or a photo, and drafts the menu, the team and the floor. A person reviews the drafts and publishes them once.

How it goes

One question at a time, with the likely answer already filled.

Every setup question

The business, how it serves, hours, order types, cash, ways to pay, tips, taxes, the team, devices and receipts, in the order a person thinks about them, with the menu last.

Big answers, a filled default

Each choice is a large button, and the one Angie suggests for your kind of venue is already selected. Skip anything and come back to it.

Pick up where you stopped

Start on the web and finish on your phone or on the terminal. The conversation is kept with your venue, not in one browser.

What she drafts

Your answers become drafts, never live settings.

Nothing Angie prepares reaches a terminal until somebody at the venue reviews it and presses Publish.

The menu, with its choicesRead from your website link or a photo of the printed menu: categories, items, prices and the modifier groups behind them.
The teamPaste a staff list and each person gets a job and the permissions that go with it. PINs are made at publish and never kept in a draft.
The floorDescribe the room in a sentence and a first floor plan is drawn for you to move around.

What she will not do

A suggestion, never an invention.

No made-up figures

A pay rate, a cash float or a gratuity percentage has no default. If you have not said it, it is asked, not guessed.

Tax only where it is published

A sales tax rate is suggested only for an address where the state publishes it, and you confirm it before it is used.

Your later change wins

If somebody changes a setting on its own form after a draft was made, publishing the draft keeps their value and tells you who changed it.

Where it stands

Working with pilot venues now.

Today

  • The full setup conversation on the web, the phone and the terminal, for VitaPOS venues.
  • Menus read from a link or a photo, and staff lists and seating turned into drafts.
  • One review and one Publish for everything she prepared.

Not yet

  • Setup without a person. Somebody at the venue always reviews and publishes, and our team is on the call for a pilot venue.

Bring a menu link and a staff list.

That is all a first session needs. We will run it with you, and you will see your own venue drafted from it.
